[mo'rãu̯fə'rrai̯rə], David, portugiesischer Schriftsteller, * Lissabon 24. 2. 1927, ✝ ebenda 16. 6. 1996; in seiner Lyrik eher den volkstümlichen Überlieferungen seines Landes verpflichtet, nahm Mourão-Ferreira in seinen dramatischen und erzählenden Texten auch Strömungen des Fantastischen und Experimentellen der zeitgenössischen Avantgarden auf; auch Literaturkritiker und Übersetzer.
 
Werke: Lyrik: A secreta viagem (1950); Tempestade de verão (1954); Os quatro cantos do tempo (1958); Entre a sombra e o corpo (1980); Os ramos e os remos (1985).
